KCare Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KCare ("KCare," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit KCare.app, use a KCare-powered booking page, or interact with our scheduling, consent, payment, and practice administration tools.

1. Information we collect

We may collect contact information, booking details, account or administrator details, messages you send to us, device and usage data, and information needed to operate integrations such as calendar, payment, email, or practice-management workflows.

KCare booking pages are intended for scheduling and operational information. Unless a practice specifically asks for it in a secure clinical workflow, do not submit emergency information, diagnoses, medication lists, symptoms, or detailed treatment history through general booking forms.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve KCare services, process bookings, maintain availability and appointment holds, support consent and policy acknowledgements, send confirmations and administrative messages, process payments through service providers, secure the platform, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We may share information with the care practice associated with your booking, service providers that help us operate KCare, integration providers you or the practice authorize, payment processors, professional advisors, authorities when required by law, or a successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction.

4. Google user data

If a practice connects Google services, KCare uses authorized Google data only to provide the requested integration, such as reading calendar availability or creating and updating booking-related calendar events. KCare does not sell Google user data and does not use it for advertising.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, log data, and similar technologies to keep the service working, remember preferences, secure sessions, measure performance, and understand how KCare is used.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, support practices, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the practice configuration.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also contact the practice connected to your booking for practice-specific records or scheduling requests.

9. Children

KCare is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to KCare without appropriate authorization, please contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on KCare.app with a new effective date.
